IBM Alpha Zone accelerator offers a 20 week professional and deep immersion program for the purposes of developing solutions for the enterprise market. The program focuses on post Seed & Round A funded companies with the aim to create long term Technology and Business partnership with IBM worldwide.

The program is located at the IBM Israel offices and has several areas of focus: Big Data Analytics, Cloud, Mobile, Security, Internet of Things, Smarter Commerce and new generation of IT solutions powered by cognitive computing technologies as well as Machine learning and AI. We are looking for industry specific solutions that can bring innovation to Healthcare, Retail, Travel & Transportation, Energy & Utilities, Telco and Media.

For the Alpha Zone upcoming class, IBM has partnered with BD (Becton Dickinson and Company) to jointly select up to 4 startups (out of the entire class) that will be able to improve healthcare delivery and decision making. For those startups aligned with BD’s interests, BD offers* professional mentorship, a grant of up to $25,000 and access to internal subject matter experts and external key opinion leaders.

Startups will have access to top-notch mentorships, technical training and support, and IBM infrastructure. The IBM Alpha Zone accelerator includes office space and resources of the IBM Global Entrepreneurs Program as well as business and technological mentorship.
At the conclusion of the program, each company will have an opportunity to present at an Investor Demo Day to angel investors, venture capitalists, IBM executives, media and industry leaders.
Upon graduation, where possible IBM will seek to market the solutions and assist the companies with international sales on a global level.
