Prof. Yonina Eldar of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering receives the 2014 IEEE/AESS Fred Nathanson Memorial Radar Award. Eldar is being recognized for her contributions to Sub-Nyquist Sampling Theory with application to radar and array processing.
This annual award, in honor of the late Fred Nathanson, is awarded by the IEEE/ AESS Radar Systems Panel of the Aerospace and Electronic System Society to the Young Engineer of the Year. Its purpose is to grant international recognition for outstanding contributions to the radar art by young IEEE/AESS members.
Eldar was aslo recently awarded the Technical Achievement Award from the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
