The Sockee story
Sockee idea started in the early 2000s by Amos Boron (RIP) and his son Roiy. Amos, who was extremely ill and incapable of putting on his socks, refused to accept his disability and started to develop a device made of wood, rope and thin metal sticks. At the end of the development process of the home-made device, Amos was again able to put on his socks. He regained his previously robbed independence to perform what we all consider a simple task.
A number of years later, in 2006, the product was approved and registered as a patent by the American Federal Patent and Trademark Offices but was not further developed.
During the last year, a team of engineers, designers and entrepreneurs came together to bring the Sockee to life.
The company has set an ambitious goal to develop the best possible device in its field for putting on socks, allowing for maximum freedom of movement for those who have been robbed of this basic independence.

The Sockee multifunctional handle attached to the Sockee doffer tip provides easy sock removal and ideal shoehorn.
