Université Ben Gourion – Chine : un centre commun pour l'entrepreneuriat et l'innovation
[:fr]L’Université Ben Gourion du Néguev (BGU, Israël) et l’Université Jilin (JLU), plus grande université chinoise, ont signé un accord mardi pour créer un centre commun de formation à l’entrepreneuriat et à l’innovation. L’accord a été signé en présence du vice-Premier ministre chinois Liu Yandong et du ministre israélien de l’Education Naftali Bennett.
La Présidente de l’Université Ben Gourion du Néguev, le Pr Rivka Carmi, et le Vice-Président exécutif du Conseil de l’Université JLU, le Prof. Li Cai ont signé cet accord à l’Hôtel Inbal à Jérusalem lors de la conférence du Forum Israël-Chine des présidents d’institutions d’enseignement supérieur, une nouvelle initiative du Conseil israélien de l’enseignement supérieur.
Israël Science Info précise que mercredi après-midi, la JLU et la BGU ont signé ce protocole d’accord visant à étendre leur collaboration au cours d’une visite sur le Campus de la BGU à Beer-Sheva.
Le nouveau centre favorisera la coopération universitaire dans la recherche et l’enseignement et servira de plate-forme pour encourager les liens entre les hommes et femmes d’affaires chinois et israéliens. L’accord découle de la coopération du Centre Bengis pour l’entrepreneuriat et l’innovation à la Faculté de commerce et de gestion de la BGU et du Centre Chine-Israël pour l’entrepreneuriat et l’innovation à la Faculté d’économie de JLU.
L’Université de Jilin est située à Changchun (Nord de la Chine) et elle se situe dans le «Top Ten» des Universités chinoises. C’est aussi la plus grande université avec 67 000 étudiants.
«Cet accord est une nouvelle étape dans l’internationalisation de la BGU et illustre l’engagement de l’Université dans l’excellence académique, les relations internationales et la croissance économique», a déclaré le Pr Carmi.
« Cet accord est le symbole d’une nouvelle étape de collaboration productive et innovante », a affirmé le Pr Cai lors de sa visite à la BGU.
La première action du nouveau centre sera le Global Entrepreneurship et Innovation Conference qui se tiendra le 16 mai 2016 à la BGU. Le thème de la conférence sera « Entrepreneuriat et innovation, Chine-Israël, Défis et opportunités. »

Une délégation de 100 universitaires et d’hommes et femmes d’affaires sont attendus en Chine pour la conférence de mai.[:en]Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel, and Jilin University (JLU), the biggest university in China, signed an agreement Tuesday to establish a joint center for entrepreneurship and innovation. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett. BGU President Prof. Rivka Carmi and JLU Executive Vice Chairman of the University Council Prof. Li Cai signed the agreement in Jerusalem at the Inbal Hotel during the conference of the Forum of Presidents of Israel-China Higher Education Institutions, a new initiative of the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
On Wednesday afternoon, JLU and BGU signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further extend the collaboration into additional fields of interest during a visit to BGU’s Marcus Family Campus in Beer-Sheva. The new joint center will promote academic cooperation in research and teaching and will serve as a platform to encourage connections between Chinese and Israeli businesspeople. The agreement emerged through the cooperation of the universities’ two innovation centers: the Bengis Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management at BGU and the China-Israel Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Faculty of Economics at JLU. The two centers will lead the activities of the new center as well.
Jilin University is situated in Changchun in Northeast China and is one of China’s ‘Top Ten’ Universities and also its largest university with approximately 67,000 students. “This agreement is another stage in the internationalization of BGU and exemplifies the University’s commitment to academic excellence, international ties, and economic growth,” Prof. Carmi declared.
“The agreement is a symbol of a new stage of productive and innovative collaborations based on our China-Israel Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” Prof. Cai affirmed during her visit to BGU. The first action of the new joint center will be the Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference to be held May 16, 2016 at BGU. The topic of the conference will be “Entrepreneurship and Innovation, China-Israel – Challenges and Opportunities.”

Mr. Laiwu Zhang,Chairman of China Soft Science Research Council and Former Minister of Science and Technology.

The evening of May 16, former foreign minister MK Tzipi Livni will be the guest of honor at a gala dinner.
A delegation of 100 academicians and business people are expected from China for the May conference.
